Lucy, I must tell you how much the Expressive Arts class has enhanced my toolbox as a therapist. Every time I see progress with a client through using the arts, I think of you and our class. I want you to know how much I appreciate you, the work you do, and the fact that you took the time out of your busy schedule to share your wealth of knowledge with me and so many others. You are truly a blessing to the field, your students, and clients.
~Meg O'Connell-Duffy LMSW, CASAC~
I have been a Clinical Social Worker for thirty-three years. I learned all the traditional ways of working with clients. As I grew as a professional, I became aware that I needed to expand my skills to meet the needs of different populations.
When I started the Creative Arts Therapy Certificate Program, I was very skeptical. After a year with Lucy, I have a language to communicate with clients on a new level. This course will help professionals grow personally (as they engage in the creative processes they are learning about) and professionally (as they apply what they are learning to their practice).
I am no longer a skeptic. I have been transformed as will all professionals who take this course. ~Paula Martinelli, LCSW~
